Cameras for
automatic production

THE CHALLENGE

Choosing the wrong cameras compromises the whole production

Every venue has its own geometry, lighting and sport. A badly chosen or badly placed camera permanently limits the quality of every broadcast from that facility.

  • Civil works and cabling

Complex installations that mean working in the venue for days.

  • Equipment that falls short

Insufficient resolution or angle to cover the whole playing area with quality.

  • Incompatible brands

Cameras from different manufacturers that cannot be mixed in one production.

WHAT WE SUPPLY

Cameras chosen for each venue and ready for the AI

For each facility we choose the most suitable cameras and supply, install and maintain them. The system accepts fixed, PTZ, portable cameras and even mobile phones within the same production.

A tracking camera at up to 8K, valid indoors and outdoors.

Fast installation: one or two hours per camera point.

Up to eight cameras per venue, placed where they best cover the action.

Compatibility with several manufacturers, and with conventional cameras plus an IP encoder.

HOW IT IS INSTALLED

From the site visit to the first broadcast event

No hardware beyond the cameras needs to be installed at the venue: just power and broadband.

  • Site visit

A study of the venue: geometry, lighting, mounting points and connectivity.

  • Camera proposal

Selection of camera model, quantity and exact placement.

  • Installation

Mounting, power, network connection and calibration, in one or two hours per camera.

  • Commissioning

Provisioning on the tiivii platform, broadcast tests and handover of a working venue.

FEATURES

Equipment built to run unattended

  • AI tracking

The cameras are driven by the AI, with no operator.

  • Indoors and outdoors

The same equipment works for arenas, pitches, courts and open spaces.

  • Installed in 1-2 hours

Fast mounting per camera point, with no building work at the venue.

  • Optical zoom

The system's low latency allows remote optical zoom during play.

  • Virtual cameras

Independent shots are generated from a single high-resolution panoramic feed.

  • Multi-protocol

RTMP, RTSP and SRT synchronised within the same production.

  • Third-party cameras

Conventional cameras integrated through an IP encoder, and mobile phones.

  • Dual use

Outside event hours the same cameras serve for venue surveillance.

BENEFITS

An investment that lasts more than ten years

  • A long service life

High-quality fixed cameras exceed ten years of working life in service.

  • No crew at the venue

The cameras are the only thing to install: everything else happens in the cloud.

  • Scalable

Start with two cameras and grow to eight as requirements rise.

  • Supply and installation included

cinfo takes care of supply, installation, production and technical support.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What gets asked before equipping a venue

How many cameras do I need?

Two fixed cameras cover a pitch with broadcast quality. From there you can grow to eight for more attractive or specialised shots.

Is building work needed at the venue?

No. Only power and broadband are needed: no hardware beyond the cameras is installed.

Can I use cameras I already own?

Yes, through an IP encoder. The system mixes cameras from different manufacturers and protocols in one production, keeping them in sync.

Do they work for any sport?

The equipment does; what gets calibrated is the AI. Adapting tracking to a new sport takes around twelve weeks.

What if the connection drops?

Depending on the model, the cameras have internal backup storage that allows the event recording to be recovered.

Can they be used for surveillance?

Yes, with an additional surveillance platform licence: outside event hours the same cameras watch over the facility.
