THE CHALLENGE
Video refereeing used to be for the elite only
Traditional VAR systems demand top-tier infrastructure, at a cost no federation can absorb across a whole competition.
-
Prohibitive cost
Dedicated equipment, a review booth and specialist staff at every match of the competition.
-
Contested decisions
With no review tool, every doubtful play turns into a controversy that damages the competition.
-
Slow deployment
Setting up and dismantling specific equipment at every venue eats time and budget.
WHAT IT IS
A complete VAR that runs on the venue's own cameras
cinfo built a play-review system with every function officiating needs, at a far lower cost: it runs on the cameras already installed and is operated from a browser.
Up to nine cameras perfectly synchronised with each other.
Under five seconds of delay against real time.
Browser access, with no dedicated equipment at the venue.
Integrated with the live broadcast so the viewer sees the review too.

HOW IT WORKS
From doubtful play to decision, in seconds
The system records every camera continuously and lets you go back frame by frame.
-
Everything is recorded
Venue cameras record continuously and are synchronised with each other in the cloud.
-
The play is marked
The operator marks any action for later review, without stopping the recording.
-
It is reviewed in mosaic
An interface with every camera in view, instant switching and frame-by-frame stepping.
-
The decision is shown
The review can be inserted into the live feed for the crowd and the media.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What federations ask
Do I need a VAR booth at the arena?
No. The system is operated from a browser, so a connected workstation is enough: there is no dedicated equipment to set up and dismantle.
Can I use the cameras I already have?
Yes. The system builds on the production cameras already installed, and dedicated cameras can be added in the most contested areas.
How much delay does the review have?
Under five seconds against real time, which allows a play to be reviewed practically as it happens.
Can the public see it?
Yes. The review can be integrated into the live broadcast and shown on the venue's video scoreboard.
Are reviews stored?
Yes, if configured that way. Recordings stay available for later review, for the competition committee and for referee training.
Does it work for any sport?
The system is sport-agnostic: what changes is the placement and number of cameras each facility needs.
